Casella Waste Systems, Inc. has completed the “tuck-in” acquisition of a solid waste collection company in its upper Connecticut River Valley market.
The company has purchased the assets of All-Waste Services, which provides waste and recyclables collection and hauling services in the Lebanon, N.H.; White River Junction and Bellows Falls, Vt., markets.
According to Casella, the purchase price was approximately $4.3 million.
“This transaction will allow us to improve existing assets and route structures in a key core market, which is, and will remain, an important strategic focus as we grow our business,” John Casella, chairman and CEO of Casella Waste Systems, said. “This acquisition tucks-in nicely with our White River Junction-based operations.”
Casella Waste Systems, headquartered in Rutland, Vermont, is a regional, integrated, non-hazardous solid waste services company that provides collection, transfer, disposal and recycling services primarily in the northeastern United States.
