Cascades Inc., paper stock operation in St- Louis-de-France, Que., was completely destroyed by fire earlier this week. The material loss is estimated to around 3 million dollars.
This plant, which served both industrial and institutional clients, shredded both carton and paper received in bulk from various companies in the area. The plant produced 14,000 metric tons a year.
