Cards, a Springdale, Arkansas-based provider of waste management solutions, announced that it has been selected as the official service provider for solid waste and recycling services by the city of Springdale. The contract, which takes effect Dec. 1, includes waste collection, recycling, bulky items and household hazardous waste disposal.

With a focus on sustainability and environmental responsibility, Cards says it aims to minimize the ecological impact of waste disposal while maximizing recycling program usage.

Under the new contract, Cards will introduce advanced waste collection systems and implement recycling programs tailored to the needs of the city of Springdale.
Services offered by Cards include the collection and disposal of household waste, recycling services for various materials and collection of yard waste. Through these services, Cards aims to enhance the quality of life for Springdale residents, promote sustainable practices and contribute to the city’s environmental goals.
Cards Director of Government Affairs Jason Fitzgerald says that “as a Springdale native, being chosen as the provider for the city … is a dream come true. I can’t tell you how much it means to me to have our company chosen as the new provider. Since starting with CARDS over five years ago, it [h]as always been my personal goal to be able to bid and receive the city of Springdale’s waste and recycling contract. As a lifelong Springdale resident, I am beyond grateful for the opportunity and can’t wait to get started.”
The city of Springdale’s decision to partner with Cards demonstrates a shared commitment to sustainable waste management practices, the company says.
