Caraustar Consumer Packaging, one of four business units under Atlanta-based Caraustar Industries, has acquired Los Angeles Paper Box, based in Commerce, California.
Los Angeles Paper Box is a folding carton and rigid box company that specializes in supplying the food industry. The acquired company has been serving the region for more than 100 years.
"With the acquisition of Los Angeles Paper Box, we will service our West Coast customers in a more efficient manner," says Dean Dietrich, vice president and general manager of Caraustar Consumer Packaging. "We also are pleased that we are expanding our product assortment available to the food industry by offering a large variety of custom and stock packaging containers."
