Caraustar Industries announced that it will raise prices on all paper tube and core product lines by eight percent. The increase will become effective with shipments on April 12.
This price change will help offset recent and dramatic increases in recovered fiber costs. Uncoated and coated paperboard price increases of $50 per ton were previously announced for March and April 2004, respectively.
