Caraustar Industries has developed Binder Tex 45, a recycled paperboard grade used in the manufacture of hardbound textbooks, law books and library binding books. This product is produced at Caraustar's Carotell board mill, Taylors, S.C.
Greg Bartlett, vice president sales and marketing of Caraustar's Mill Group, stated, "Binder Tex 45 is an excellent example of Caraustar's close attention to customer needs and the marketplace. We were able to combine our expertise with the customer's requirements to provide this specialty grade board that meets the National Association of State Textbook Administrators specifications for the book publishing industry.
"We feel that the mill production and the converting operation being under one roof, where we laminate and cut to size, is a quality and service advantage. Binder Tex 45 is another quality Caraustar product that reflects our team's mission to provide outstanding value through innovative products and services."
