CCR Logistics Systems AG, Manager of Product Life-Cycle Systems, has been commissioned by Peugeot's British subsidiary to set up and operate a nationwide recycling program for car shop waste.
After completing a trial in South England, Peugeot chose CCR UK Ltd., CCR Logistics Systems' local subsidiary, as manager of its car shop disposal project.
CCR will collect Peugeot Dealership's waste materials and provide segregation facilities, management information and audit trails for controlled waste - both hazardous and non-hazardous. CCR will also handle for oil, batteries, fluids, tires and fluorescent lighting, along with packaging materials, plastic bumpers and metals.
Previous to the deal CCR UK Ltd. has been engaged mostly in waste management consulting, although the parent company, CCR Logistics Systems, is the European market leader in the business field of waste recovery systems for car shop disposal.
