Mexico City-based Canacero, which refers to itself as Mexico’s National Chamber of the Iron and Steel Industry, will host its sixth annual congress at the Reforma Hotel in Mexico City Oct. 22-24.
Delegates to the event can register on-site as soon as Oct. 20 or 21, but the event’s programming starts the morning of Monday, Oct. 22, with an opening ceremony involving several government officials.
Subsequent presentations and panel discussions will address government policy issues affecting steelmakers; advances in metallurgy; and sustainability. The event will conclude with a golf outing on Wednesday, Oct. 24.
