The California Department of Toxic Substances Control and the Integrated Waste Management Board have scheduled four training sessions for collectors of universal waste electronic devices or materials containing cathode ray tubes.
The training sessions are free and will cover the following topics:

Requirements for universal waste handlers according to title 22 of the California Code of Regulations, chapter 23
- Notification requirements to become a universal waste handling of these materials
- Application requirements to become an approved collector under SB 20
- Annual reporting requirements and payment claims and reports
The session will also include a question-and-answer period and paperwork assistance.

Nov. 30, DTSC – Berkley Field Office, 700 Heintz Ave., Auditorium, Berkley, 9 a.m. to noon
Dec. 1, DTSC – San Diego Office, 9174 Sky Park Court, Suite 150, San Diego, 9 a.m. to noon
Dec 2, DTSC – Glendale Office, 1011 N. Grandview Ave., Glendale, 9 a.m. to noon
