The California Resource Recovery Association (CRRA) has announced the Aug. 7-10, 2016, date for its 40th annual conference in addition to a call for papers related to speakers and sessions. The CRRA’s Annual Conference and Tradeshow is set to be held at the DoubleTree Hotel in Sacramento, California.
The association is currently accepting submissions in two formats: individual speakers or complete sessions. This call for papers, the CRRA says, is an invitation to participate in and contribute to CRRA’s 2016 event. The deadline for submissions is Jan. 10, 2016.
For 40 years the CRRA says its annual conference has been among the most comprehensive and dynamic events dedicated to sustainable materials management.
The CRRA was founded in 1974 with a mission to provide its members with resources to advance local, regional and statewide waste reduction efforts that result in critical environmental and climate protection outcomes. Its success is due in part to a strong membership and leadership base as well as the support of industry partners, including this year’s Partner Sponsor, the Sacramento Regional Solid Waste Authority, CRRA says.
