ITec Environmental Systems Inc. (ITec), a division of Beechport Capital Corp., Oakdale, Calif., has announced the sale of three specially designed granulators to the California counties of Santa Barbara and Plumas. ITec also has confirmed orders for two additional granulators as well as pending orders for twelve more.
Cities and counties throughout California are purchasing these granulators with funds from state block grant programs. Gary De Laurentiis, CEO of Beechport, says, "Nearly every county in California has expressed their interest in either our granulator or community collection program. The block grant funding program leverages ITec's combined know-how and best-in-class processes with every community's desire to eliminated plastics and particularly oil-contaminated plastics from their landfills.
"Selling granulators statewide, collecting their granulated plastic, processing it and finally selling the recycled plastic from our company-owned recycling facility has been one of management's goals for this year," Mr. De Laurentiis says. "We're almost there. The plant financing is the final component necessary to start. We believe the plant funding is very near."
ITec offers granulators specially designed to shred plastic containers into flake for transporting in 55-gallon drums. For more information about ITec granulators, collection programs or investor information, visit www.beechport.com/itec.
