The city and county of Napa will be kicking off a program to allow residentsand businesses to recycle old computer and electronic equipment. The programwill be for two days, June 8-9.
During the two-day program computers, monitors, printers, and otherelectronic equipment will be accepted at no cost.
The program will be limited to residential and commercial customersserviced by Napa Garbage Service, Napa Valley Disposal, American Canyon Disposaland Upper Valley Disposal Service.
Napa Garbage will work with Computer Recycling Center to provide the collectionand recycling for the event. NGS will handle the non working items with its sistercompany, Waste Management Asset Recovery Group.
Sponsors of the program include the City of Napa Public Works Dept., NapaGarbage Service, Napa Valley Disposal Service, American Canyon Disposal Service,Napa Valley College, Waste Management Asset Recovery Group, Computer Recycling Center,Upper Valley Waste Management Agency and the Napa Valley Personal Computer UsersGroup.
