C&D Site Proposed at Georgia Landfill

Site acceptability study requested.

A proposal to add a construction and demolition debris site to an existing landfill in Decatur County, Ga., has been presented to the county commissioners, according to a report in the Daily Searchlight (Bainbridge, Ga.).

 

A $25,000 site acceptability study has been requested, according to the report. The C&D site would be added to the county landfill near Attapulgus, Ga.

 

The commissioners have requested more information, including an operations plan, and voted to table the issue until March, according to the report.
