Description: The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service invites bids for Asbestos Abatement and Demolitions of Shropshire and Water Street Houses at the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge, Oceanville (Atlantic Co.), New Jersey.    

The work consists of the removal and disposal of approximately 1,300 square feet of asbestos-cement shingles located on the garage exterior at the Shropshire House property. The house, garage and playhouse structure shall be demolished.    

Also, the Water Street House shall be demolished and disposed off site (no asbestos material was found at this location.    

Estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000. and $100,000.. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238910 (SIC code is 1795).    

The size standard is $12 million.    

This procurement is set aside for small business.    

All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered.     Issue date will be o/a January 24, 2005.
