Description:
The purpose of this modification is to extend the response date to June 28, 2004. The United States Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Midwest Area has a project entitled Demolition of Four Buildings.
The project is located at USDA, ARS, MWA, North Appalachian Experimental Watershed (NAEW), Coshocton, OH.
The work includes, but is not limited to furnishing all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other necessary work to perform and complete the demolition of four buildings including 1) asbestos remediation; 2) demolition of the structures, foundations and appurtenances; 3) utility disconnect and removal; 4) proper recycling and disposal of demolished materials; and 5) restoration of the disturbed areas of the site upon completion of demolition and removal work.
The period of performance is 135 days.
All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the Specifications and Drawings. Bonding will be required. Estimated price range is: Between $25,000 and $100,000. This acquisition will be procured as a full and open competition under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.

All responsible and qualified sources may submit a bid that will be considered by the agency. A pre-bid site visit will be scheduled and information provided in the solicitation package. This will be the only opportunity to visit the job site prior to submission of bid. The anticipated IFB solicitation package will be available on or about May 13, 2004, with opening date on or about 30 days later.

Description: Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for the demolition and removal of three steel tanks, one steel dike containment (floor and walls), and all associated piping, valves, pumps etc., in building 101, Room 108 at NRL, Washington, DC. A job site visit will be required.
All work will be done after regular hours. Additional specifications and opening and closing dates will appear in the RFQ, which will be posted on http://supply.nrl.navy.mil the 16th day after this notice.
