Description: The 482 FW Operational Contracting Office, Homestead Air Reserve Base (ARB), Dade County, Florida, is issuing a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 12.6, to demolish various buildings on Homestead ARB.
Structures slabs shall be cut flush with surrounding grounds.
All debris shall be disposed of off base in a licensed landfill.
Contractor will comply with applicable laws, regulations, standards and environmental requirements set forth in the statement of work.
Contractor shall not cause, let, permit, suffer, or allow the emissions of unconfined particulate matter from any activity including vehicular movement, transportation of materials, construction, alteration, demolition or wrecking, or industrial related activities such as loading, unloading, storing, or handling without taking reasonable precautions to prevent such emissions.
Invitation for Bid (IFB) Number is FA6648-04-B-0003.
This acquisition will be issued as a 100% HubZone Certified Set-Aside.
The North American Industry Classification System is 238910, The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1795 and the small business size is $11.5 million annually.
A Firm Fixed Price Contract will be awarded.
The projected date for availability of the solicitation package is on or about 27 April 2004.

Description: Pre-Solicitation Notice for Military Family Housing (MFH) and Various Base Facilities Demolition Services
This requirement is being set aside as an 8(a) competitive acquisition.
The contractor shall provide all management; tools, supplies, equipment and labor necessary to perform demolition services at Charleston AFB, South Carolina in accordance with all federal, state and local applicable laws, regulations and commercial practices.
Scope of work could include:
Demolition of approximately 0 up to 800 MFH and an undetermined amount of various government facilities, which include removal of concrete sidewalks, driveways and asphalt. Removal and transport of construction debris, asbestos and/or lead based paint.
This will be a Performance Based Requirements Firm-Fixed Price contract with a 12 month base year and four (4) one year option periods.
The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562910 with a small business size standard of $12 million.
The successful contractor will be selected using Performance Price Tradeoff (PPT) procedures, resulting in the best value to the Government.
It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 19 May 2004 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.eps.gov.
Paper copies will not be available.
