The Devens Recycling Center (DRC) celebrated its official opening Sept. 6, according to the report. The 90,000-square-foot facility sits on 11 acres in
The company received a $12 million tax-exempt bond from MassDevelopment to help fund the operation in November 2006.
The facility is currently recycling about 38 percent of its material, but hopes to increase that number to the 80 percent to 85 percent range.
