Atlanta-based BWAY Corp., a Stone Canyon Industries LLC company, has announced the acquisition of KLW Plastics, Monroe, Ohio, from Koda Enterprises Group.
KLW Plastics is a manufacturer of 1-to-7-gallon, tight-head plastic containers and UN-rated packaging. The company’s product line serves the food, chemical and agricultural end markets. KLW Plastics has expanded its line of packaging solutions to include a sustainable tight-head container made of 60 percent postconsumer resin.
Ken Roessler, BWAY president and CEO, says, “This business is an excellent fit with the company's core market, add-on acquisition strategy. In addition to sales growth, this acquisition expands our product offering with innovative new products, which further support the company's goal of positioning BWAY as the premier supplier for rigid general line packaging.”
The deal follows Stone Canyon LLC, a holding company based in Santa Monica, California, acquiring BWAY Corp. in August for $2.4 billion.
