The German recycling association BVSE has announced that professor and economist Hans-Werner Sinn will deliver the keynote address at the 18th annual BVSE International Recovered Paper Conference, which will take place April 23, 2015 in Berlin.
Sinn is the president of the Lfo Institute and is a professor of economics and public finance at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. Sinn is also director of the Center for Economic Studies (CES) and managing director of CESifo GmbH, a private corporation involved in organizing economic conferences. His presentation will look at the developments in the world economy along while highlighting findings from both Germany and Europe.
The 18th BVSE International Recovered Paper Conference will be held at the Maritim Hotel Berlin, Germany. The organization, Bundesverband Sekundärrohstoffe und Entsorgung e.V., is Germany’s Federal Association for Secondary Raw Materials and Waste Management.
Sinn has authored several books on economic policy, including Jumpstart, Can Germany Be Saved?, Die Basarökonomie, The Green Paradox, Casino Capitalism und Die Target-Falle. His main research interests are taxation, the environment, growth and exhaustible resources, risk theory, climate and energy, banking, demography and social security, macroeconomics and systemic competition.
