Capturing Bottles by Capturing Attention

Busch Systems’ Big Bottle Recycler designed for venues and special events.

Busch Systems, Barrie, Ontario, Canada, is now offering a “Big Bottle Recycler” collection bin designed for use at large outdoor events and other places that attract crowds.

The container stands nearly five feet tall and resembles a plastic pop bottle. “It is attractive, easy to use and can be personalized to any recycling program,” says the company in a news release.

The “Big Bottle Recycler” can be custom-designed for large event venues, such as stadiums, theme parks and theaters, says the company.

Not only is the container designed to increase recycling rates, but it also is constructed of opaque plastic created from 100 percent recycled content. The durable plastic is formulated to withstand large amounts of traffic and severe weather conditions, says the company.

The free-standing, large-scale recycling container also can come with an optional weighted base, or it can also be secured to posts or other objects for increased support.

The “Big Bottle Recycler” is equipped with a heavy-duty collection bag that is fastened tightly around the upper lip of the container’s base. The bag can collect more than 30 gallons of bottles and cans.

“The Big Bottle compliments our goal of providing our customers with the most complete and effective line of recycling containers,” says Craig Busch, CEO and president of Busch Systems. “The ‘Big Bottle Recycler’ is attractive, easy to use, durable and ideal for event recycling programs and I know it will help many programs increase their diversion rates.”
