Bunting Magnetics Co., Newton, Kan., has named Chad Mayes as an inside sales representative for the company’s material handling products.
Fred Fishman, vice president of operations for Bunting, says, “We needed someone with the skill level to handle a variety of situations and help our customers meet the needs for their manufacturing environment or application. Chad brings the customer service and sales background that was required for this position.”
Mayes has more than 15 years of experience in the farming, ranching, insurance and retail industries. He served in sales roles for Copeland Insurance, Junction City, Kan., and for Farm Bureau Insurance, Newton, Kan., prior to joining Bunting. At Farm Bureau, Chad earned the Farm Bureau Rookie of the Year Award in 2002 and was a three-time member of that organization’s Million Dollar Round Table.
As the inside sales representative – material handling, Mayes manages incoming sales inquires as well as any ongoing project related issues and questions. He facilitates order processing and serves as a liaison with the Bunting Technical Services Group to ensure the timely completion of all material handling orders.

The company’s product line serves global markets and includes a broad range of magnetic materials and components, magnetic separation systems, material handling equipment, magnetic printing cylinders, flexible dies and metal detection equipment.
