Florida Electronic Scrap Recycling Adds Drop-Off Sites

Two companies step forward and add sites.

Budget Self Storage and Florida’s Storage Solution have joined Florida E-Waste Recycling’s GreenSite Network of e-waste drop-off locations.

Budget Self Storage is offering drop-off sites in Tampa, Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Valrico, Bradenton and Sarasota. 10 of the 14 facilities have become authorized drop off locations for computers, monitors, cell phones, toner cartridges, and other electronic waste.

“We are pleased to be part of the GreenSite network,” says Jon Dorman, vice president of Budget Management. “Going Green is a commitment we wish to make to the communities that we service and we’re proud to offer the public our self storage facilities as free places to recycle their e-waste. We also donate a percentage of our proceeds to local charities.”

Mark Sage, managing partner of Florida E-Waste Recycling, says, “Thirteen of Florida’s Storage Solution’s self storage facilities will be designated GreenSite locations. The new sites are located in Trinity, Odessa, Tampa, Largo, Land O’ Lakes, Spring Hill, Winter Haven, Bartow, Brandon, Bradenton, Sarasota and Dundee. We will continue to add GreenSite locations throughout the State to make it easier for everyone to recycle their electronics equipment. Businesses and the general public won’t have to travel great distances to dispose of their electronics or wait for a quarterly regional recycling event when a GreenSite location is right around the corner.”
