Brooklyn Lawmaker Proposes C&D Recycling

Brooklyn Assemblyman William Colton has proposed a bill that would call for construction and demolition recycling, according to a report from NY1 News.

Colton’s bill would call for contractors to recycle 25 percent of scrap material from certain construction and demolition sites during its first year. During the second year, the amount would increase to 50 percent.
