Van Dyk Baler Corp., Stamford, Conn., has sold equipment to two separate Indiana locations.
Random House Inc., has purchased a Bollegraaf shredding system and baling system for its book destruction facility at its Crawfordsville, Ind., location.
The system is comprised of a Bollegraaf HBS 75/1200 shredder, an HBC-20 baler and a series of transportation and storage conveyors.
The Random House book destruction system plans to process 20.5 tons per day of hardcover books, 24.5 tons perfect of paperback books and 10 tons per day of non-recyclables.
In addition, Trinity Recycling has purchased a Bollegraaf HBC 110F baler with a paper ruffler for its Indianapolis facility.
