Bollegraaf Recycling Solutions of Appingedam, Netherlands, has been nominated for the Netherland’s 2012 Koning Willem I award in recognition of the company’s recycling solutions and export policy.
“Our success is based on the contribution we manage to supply to our clients’ profit margin,” says Heiman Bollegraaf, director of the company. “Ultimately it is all about the combination of achieving the highest possible separation percentage against the lowest possible costs. That is our inspiration: to develop, build and supply machines and systems.”
Bollegraaf also points to the company culture of innovation and its focus on the continuity of customer operations.
The company was recently selected by Sims Recycling Solutions’ (SRS) to develop and supply a single-stream installation.
“We believe in sustainable quality, among other things signified by the long life span of our machines and our after-sales service,” says Bollegraaf. “If necessary we can supply and build in spare parts within 24 hours.”
The Koning Willem I award honors Dutch entrepreneurs who have achieved global success. Dutch Crown Prince Willem Alexander, honorary chairman of the Koning Willem I Foundation, will award prizes to the winners at the Floriade event in Venlo, Netherlands. The foundation is supported by the Dutch Ministry of Economics, Agriculture and Innovation.
