According to the BIR World Mirror, markets for most grades of nonferrous continue to show good strength through January.
Marc Natan, president of BIR’s Non-Ferrous Division, noted that the main driver for the strengthening nonferrous market is the overall improvement in the world economy. “We hear about more than 10 percent in China, 8 percent in India, 5 percent in the U.S., and a modest 2 percent in Europe.”
