The Bureau of International Recycling announced that Jan Bender, head of sales coordination at ThyssenKrupp Nirosta, will be the keynote speaker of the Stainless Steel & Special Alloys Committee plenary session May 25th. The session is one of many commodity-specific sessions scheduled during BIR’s spring meeting, May 24-26 in Berlin, Germany.
Bender will draw a general picture of stainless steel availability and demand, give an insight into his company’s activities and analyze the global need of scrap as raw material for future stainless steel production worldwide.
