Alexandre Delacoux, who has been director general of the Bureau of International Recycling (BIR), Brussels, since late 2013, has left the recycling association. Delacoux officially left the BIR on July 1, 2016.
In a letter to members, BIR President Ranjit Baxi expressed appreciation to Delacoux for his services and wished him well in his future endeavors.
Baxi adds that the association will look for a successor. In the meantime, the BIR secretariat will be run by its three directors - Ross Bartley, Elisabeth Christ and Anja Wimmer - with the full support of the executive committee.
