The Bureau of International Recycling (BIR) is accepting online registrations for its 2023 World Recycling Convention & Exhibition, scheduled for May 21-24 in Amsterdam.
The Brussels-based BIR says attendees of the May event “are encouraged to make their hotel reservation upon registration to the convention.” The host venue is the Okura Amsterdam hotel, although the BIR says those attending can “choose from a selection of other hotels, from four-star suites to quiet boutique hotels.”
The global federation says it is preparing to offer “the best networking and business opportunities, the latest market updates in global recycling, and unmatched party vibes to celebrate BIR’s 75th anniversary.”
In addition to the BIR’s 75th Anniversary Welcome Evening on May 22, the event includes three networking luncheons and division and committee meetings covering the most commonly traded recycled materials.
Commodities spotlighted in either division or committee meetings include ferrous, nonferrous and stainless steel scrap metal, paper, plastic, e-scrap, rubber and textiles and meetings focused on trade, environmental issues and metals shredding.
More information on how to register for the event can be found here.
