Battery Solutions, a Howell, Michigan-based provider of battery recycling services and systems, has appointed Alexander Nitsche its new chief financial officer. Nitsche brings with him material management, logistics, controlling and financial management expertise.
“Alex is more than a seasoned financial executive, he will be a strategic and operational partner in growing the company,” says Thomas Bjarnemark, CEO of Battery Solutions. “With knowledge in utilizing technology to propel business development, Alex will be an integral part of the team as we look to expand our use of technology to drive success.”
Says Nitsche, “I’m excited to take what I have learned from the machinery business and apply it to the recyclable and renewables sector. There is an incredible opportunity to use my experience to guide Battery Solutions’ growth for years to come, and I want to be a part of that development.”
Prior to joining Battery Solutions, Nitsche was with Schuler Inc., a provider of metal-forming equipment, holding a series of positions culminating in the position of CFO. Nitsche will work out of Battery Solutions’ Howell corporate headquarters.
