Charlotte, North Carolina-based BACE, a manufacturer of balers and compactors for the recycling and waste-disposal industries, has appointed Michael Pond as its new director of sales for the southwest regions of North America and Mexico.
Pond will be responsible for sales and marketing growth in the region, along with new product exploration and opening up alternative mainstream markets.

Previously, Pond was director of sales for RiverRoad Waste Solutions in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. He brings more than 25 years of experience in sales, marketing and technology for various products and industries, including distribution, manufacturing and third-party management. Pond also has been recognized for outstanding sales achievements, having won the AT&T 2012 Supplier Sustainability Award.
