BACE LLC, a Charlotte, N.C.-based manufacturer of heavy-duty balers and compactors, has hired Randy Sossamon as national sales director. Sossamon will be responsible for the large retail, supermarkets/grocery stores, health care and targeted manufacturing sectors.
Prior to joining BACE, Sossamon served in different sales and business-development leadership roles within a number of industries.
Fred Waite, BACE chairman, says, "Bringing Randy aboard was the first in a series of strategic initiatives we're undertaking this year. His skills, as demonstrated by his track record, will enable us to pursue new opportunities in new market segments. In addition, he'll be instrumental in helping us optimize the rollout of significant upgrades to our existing balers and compactors as well as in maximizing the introduction of a revolutionary new baler system, for which we already have a patent pending. Randy's the right person at the right time in what will be a very good year for BACE."
Matt Hatfield, president of BACE, says, "Randy's expertise and considerable experience with diverse products, services, and combinations of computer and mechanical technologies will make him a welcome resource to C-Level executives needing a strategic partner in meeting their organizations' recycling objectives. We're happy to welcome him aboard."
