BACE Expands Operations

Company adds 35,000 square feet to Charlotte, N.C., facility.

Baler and Compaction Equipment (BACE) has added 35,000 square feet of manufacturing space to its Charlotte, N.C. facility to support its growth strategy. The company is a manufacturer of heavy duty balers and compactors headquartered in Charlotte.

“This additional space will accommodate the continuation of our global growth plans and is a testament to our financial model, manufacturing processes, and customer partnerships,” says Frederick Waite, chairman and CEO of BACE. “While some manufactures are reducing space, eliminating employees and taking a reactive approach to the current economic conditions, BACE feels fortunate to have added large retail customers, grocery stores and additional distributors to support our global growth strategy. We believe their decision to join our family of customers is a testament to both our market-leading best price initiative and our unequaled commitment to customer service.”

The new facility doubles the company’s fabrication space. The company says the investment also includes equipment to accommodate the growing business needs. BACE expects to generate significant manufacturing efficiencies by improving production capability, flexibility, and flow of operations.

“We believe this continued focus on our operating costs will allow BACE to further distinguish itself from the competition,” says Matt Hatfield, president of BACE.
