Axo Expands on 608 STAK

Company introduces three versions of its larger shred truck.

According to Axo Shredders Corp., Kitchener, Ontario, the success of the company’s full-sized 608 STAK has resulted in its realigning the model to better reflect the needs of the marketplace. Axo now offers the 608 STAK in three versions.

The 608 STAK 4300-25, based on the International 4300 platform, is a “value edition” that offers all of the power, performance and simplicity the STAK is known for, according to Axo.

The “premium edition” 608 STAK 4400-35 is manufactured on the more powerful and fully appointed, air-ride cab offered by the International 4400. The 4400-35 is available with a variety of appearance options.

Both the 4300 and 4400 versions are 33,000 gross vehicle weight rated (GVWR) trucks that shred at 6,500 to 7,000 pounds per hour and have 10,000-pound payloads.

Rounding out the STAK product family is the new 608 STAK Shredliner, a tandem-axle shred truck with a 17,500-pound payload.
