Two additional auto dismantling companies have been added to the Quality Replacement Parts (QRP) network, based in Schofield, Wisc.
QRP is a group of independently owned auto recycling businesses in the upper Midwest that has been banding together to provide parts replacement services to each other in adjoining regional markets. QRP members supplement each others’ “in-house” inventory by tapping into the parts inventories of their fellow network members.
Speedway Auto Ltd., Joliet, Ill., is a 32-year-old auto dismantling business that acquires and dismantles about 300 late model cars each year. The company’s addition to QRP will increase the network’s presence in the Chicago area.
Calumet Auto Parts, Milwaukee, Wisc., is a 26-year-old company that dismantles some 500 cars each year and provides parts to a five-county area in and around Milwaukee.
