The Aurea Group, based in Paris, has acquired the Bolton Lego Co., a company involved in the recycling of copper and the production of copper alloys. The acquisition follows the Aurea Group’s plan on growing its recycling business through the acquisition of small and midsized companies involved in the recycling and environmental fields.
Bolton Lego, located in Ferté Bernard, processes around 6,000 metric tons of copper per year. The company posted annual revenues of 35 million Euros. In making the acquisition, Aurea Group says that the acquired company will benefit from the experience of the Aurea Group, as well as synergies with the other group companies to strengthen its competitive situation face current challenges.
