As part of the agreement, Rotobec will integrate the Hultdins saw unit technology into its RotoCut saw units. Starting now with the ¾”- 11H model and followed at a later date with the lighter .404 – 18H option, all RotoCut units will be powered by the Hultdins saw technology. The RotoCut structure and its hydraulic system will not be affected by the change, according to the companies.
Hultdins will discontinue its TL Grapple line in the North American market to focus on its short-log SG Grapples and SuperCut saw unit product lines.
Rotobec, based in Ste-Justine, Quebec, Canada, is a provider of material handling attachments including grapples and heavy-duty rotators. Hultdins, based in Brantford, Ontario, Canada, provides CTL bunching grapples and in saw units for the logging industry.
