India-based ASM Global says its RecyclX platform is now operating as a digital mass balancing system designed to help plastics recyclers demonstrate the traceability and percentage of recycled content in their circular plastic products.
“In today’s rapidly evolving recycling landscape, transparency and verified claims are more important than ever,” ASM Global founder and CEO Surbhi Jore says, citing growing pressure from regulators, brands and "conscious consumers” for recyclers to deliver high-quality recycled materials and provide credible proof of their recycled content.
ASM says RecyclX can integrate internationally recognized certification systems including the Washington-based Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR) postconsumer resin (PCR) certification, the International Sustainability and Carbon Certificate (ISCC) Plus certification and the Ocean-Bound Plastic (OBP) certification.
“The RecyclX platform’s robust mass balancing system enables recyclers to meticulously track material flows—from the receipt of PCR to the production of new recycled-content products,” Jore says.
According to Jore, RecyclX offers “seamless traceability” for every kilogram of material a company handles as well as “certification-ready documentation” for compliance with the APR, ISCC and OBP systems.
“With regulations tightening and expectations rising, verifying recycled content is no longer optional, it’s fundamental,” Jore says. “Our mass balancing engine is not just a compliance tool—it’s a way for recyclers to enhance market credibility, access better pricing and support the global shift toward a circular plastics economy.”
