France-based Arjowiggins Graphic, through its subsidiary Arjowiggins USA, has announced plans to bolster its efforts to distribute its recycled-content papers in the United States and North America by appointing Julie Brannen to handle North American regional sales.
Brannen, who was previously vice president and national sales director at California-based New Leaf Paper, has a commercial print industry background, with nearly 20 years of experience in North America. She has previously worked in positions pertaining to FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification, corporate responsibility, environmental procedures, procurement and sustainable business practices.
Arjowiggins Graphic operates an FSC-certified scrap paper recycling facility in France known as Greenfield SAS and paper mill manufacturing sites in Le Bourray and Besse Sur Braye, France. The mills produce recycled-content coated and uncoated print and packaging paper grades.
“I am both pleased and proud to join the Arjowiggins Graphic team,” says Brannen. “Simply put, we offer something that no one else here can: a total, closed-loop recycling and manufacturing solution for the print and packaging communities. This provides a long-awaited solution, one that has not been available in this marketplace until now. I am truly honored to be the first to supply such an innovative and uniquely sustainable product portfolio to the North American market.”
Arjowiggins Graphic has been in the U.S. market for more than 20 years, according to the firm.
