Arcis Resources Corp., Birmingham, Ala., has completed the delivery of 35,000 pounds of two types of recycled plastic resin pellets to GDC Inc. The recycled resin will be used by GDC, based in Goshen, Ind., in the production of OEM automotive parts.
According to Arcis, the delivery is part of a program driven by the desire of GDC's automotive customers for parts and products that correlate with their sustainability goals. Once the product specs are approved by GDC, Arcis says it anticipates deliveries of recycled polypropylene to GDC to range between 20,000 to 40,000 pounds per month.
