Arch Enterprises, which operates a precious metals and specialty metals operation in Hermann, Mo., announced that it is relocating its operations to Mexico, Mo., where it will be able to bring its conglomeration of buildings together under one roof.
Jim Lightsey, one of the owners of the facility, said that the new location will be comprised of 14 acres and a 27,000-square foot building. The company hopes to relocate to the site within the next six months.
Arch specializes in extracting silver, platinum, palladium, as well as a host of nonferrous metals from material generated at industrial settings. An area that the company has a significant role in is silver extraction from the photographic industry.
The company’s end base product is then shipped to manufacturers where it is used to make a range of products.
The company will be moving into space that was previously used by Harbison Walker Refractories, which closed down the location several years ago.
Arch Enterprises plans to have the business operational within the next few months. Arch's expertise in metallurgical science has made them an industry leader in processing and recycling material from a host of medical and industrial operations.
