Appliance Recycling Centers of America, Inc. has been awarded a three-year appliance recycling contract by the Department of Water and Power of the City of Los Angeles. The contract covers two programs with DWP, the Low Income Refrigerator Exchange Program and the Refrigerator Turn-In and Recycling Program. ARCA is currently providing services for both recycling programs under previous contracts with DWP.
The company also announced that it will be opening its third ApplianceSmart Factory Outlet in the Atlanta area by early next year.
The 27,000-square-foot factory outlet will be ARCA's 14th retail location in the nation.
