Apex Shear Blades, a Duluth, Minnesota-based provider of shear blades for mobile and stationary shears, has entered into the metal recycling industry supplier sector
Apex is led by Jay and Betsy McDevitt, who have nearly 20 years of combined blade experience between them, and the duo says they have identified what customers are looking for in a blade supplier.
“The metal recycling industry needs access to quality blade kits for their equipment at a competitive price,” says Jay McDevitt. “More than that, though, they need suppliers who are responsive, get customers what they need when they need it and do what they say they can do.”
Betsy McDevitt adds, “I’m very passionate about the scrap recycling industry, but it’s more about the quality of individuals that work in it. I’ve developed so many unique relationships that I value and am excited to have the opportunity to serve this market and continue to develop new friendships.”
The company says its location in the Duluth region places it in an area well-known for the design and manufacture of many of North America’s top shear providers.
