AnythingIT, Fair Lawn, New Jersey, has been awarded a contract to provide data destruction and recycling of IT assets for a division of the United States military.
The contract is part of a larger IT refresh whereby AnythingIT is the designated subcontractor to perform receiving, inventory and data destruction of military-owned IT devices from sites across the United States, the company says.
"As a U.S. government contractor for over 12 years, we have seen an increasing demand for data destruction services from our public sector clients. We are privileged to perform our learned best practices in support of the military,” says David Bernstein, CEO of AnythingIT Inc.
AnythingIT serves OEMs, resellers, government and enterprise clients. Services provided include data scrubbing, shredding, inventorying and resale. Incorporated in 1992, the company is also a GSA (General Services Administration) schedule holder that has achieved E-stewards, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications.
