Anheuser-Busch has announced that it has awarded a $500,000 gift from its Anheuser-Busch Foundation to Keep America Beautiful (KAB) to support their national recycling programs.
According to a press release, the gift will assist KAB in their efforts to educate the public on recycling and litter prevention. In addition, the donation will fund a grant program to assist event recycling by providing about 3,000 recycling bins to local communities across the country.
“Recycling is one of our key areas of focus when it comes to promoting environmental responsibility within our company and with our consumers,” says Dave Peacock, president of Anheuser-Busch Inc. “This gift from our Foundation will help support Keep America Beautiful’s efforts to remind Americans about the importance of recycling and protecting the environment in their local communities.”
