The equipment company Andritz Pulp & Paper, based in Austria, has received an order from the German paper company Metsä Tissue GmbH to supply a drum pulper for its tissue paper machine at its mill in Kreuzau, Germany.
The scope of the sale includes the equipment, erection supervision and training, as well as start-up and commissioning, which are scheduled to take place March 2017.
The new drum pulper for the tissue mill’s deinking line will process both mixed office fibre and sorted colored ledger to manufacture tissue products. The system has been designed to provide sufficient flexibility for the use of other recovered fibre grades with a higher degree of contamination. The drum pulper has sufficient capacity to additionally process the recovered fiber of another tissue machine line at the mill.
According to Andritz, the equipment company’s extensive history in drum puling equipment with more than 200 FibreFlow drum installations worldwide were decisive for Metsä Tissue to place the order with Andritz.
