The full-service metal fabrication and machining company Anderson Industries LLC, Mapleton, North Dakota, has acquired Dakota Foundry Inc., a manufacturer of gray and ductile iron castings based in Webster, South Dakota, from Generational Equity, a mergers and acquisitions advisor based in Dallas. The deal closed Sept. 2, 2014.
"The sale of Dakota Foundry was a momentous step for the company," says Generational Equity’s David Lewis. "The founding shareholders were able to get a good return on their investment and hard work and set the company on a path for tremendous growth going forward."
Anderson Industries is a full-service metal fabrication and machining company. Its diversified manufacturing knowledge base allows it to work with various customers and provide solutions in welding, fabrication, machining and iron casting.
