Reflecting an improved environment Andela Products is expanding its operations in New York state to allow it to increase the production of its glass pulverizing equipment. The company, headquartered in Richfield Springs, NY, will be moving into a business park being developed in the city.
According to Cynthia Andela, president of Andela Products, the company will be the anchor tenant at the new facility. The company expects to move to the new location by the third to fourth quarter of this year. The new facility will give the company around 30,000 square feet in which to manufacture its equipment.
While relocating its manufacturing operations to the new park, Andela will continue to operate its existing facility, where they will engage in actual processing of glass products. At the original location the company will wash, dry and clean crushed glass.
The business park is being developed with assistance from a number of development agency grants.
According to local reports the expansion will allow the company to increase its employee ranks.
