Amut Group to display new products at Milan plastics show

Plastics recycling equipment company also will host open house at its nearby facility.

Italy’s Amut Group says it will offer demonstrations of a new de-labeller for the recycling market at the Plast Exhibition Milan, May 5-9, 2015, at the Fiera Milano Fairgrounds in Milan, Italy.

The equipment company says part of its 8,600-square foot (800 square meters) booth space will focus on promoting the newly named organization, Amut Dolci Bielloni, formed as a result of Amut Group’s acquisition of Dolci & Bielloni in early 2015. Dolci & Bielloni makes printing and slitting rewinding machines and blown and cast lines for multi-layer films.

Amut’s Recycling Division will display the DLB 60 De-Labeller at the event. Amut describes the De-Labeller as a dry pre-cleaning system that removes full-body shrink sleeve labels from PET bottles without damaging them. The company says the machine is capable of processing 13,200 pounds (6,000 kilograms) of PET bottles per hour and the machine can be added at the beginning of a washing line.

Also on display at the company’s booth will be its Model BA92 counter-rotating twin-screw extruder; the AKV-ITF120 compact in-line thermoforming machine; and Model TEAT 7 extrusion heads for recycled PVC pipe.

The company also will offer a shuttle service to transport trade show guests to Amut Dolci Bielloni’s premises in Biassono, Italy, where it will host an open house to display two cast lines for stretch film.
