Amlon Resources Group LLC (ARG), New York, has entered into what it is calling a “Teaming Agreement” with American Ecology Corp. (AMEC), based in Boise, Idaho.
The agreement in principle calls for AMEC and ARG “to utilize their core competencies for the purpose of sourcing, processing and marketing metal-bearing oil refinery catalyst for the production of metals-based chemicals and alloys,” according to a news release from Amlon.
“This program will provide petrochemical companies with a much needed environmentally sound and economically competitive, full service option for the management of their classified hazardous waste spent catalyst,” states the release.
AMEC bills itself as “a leader in hazardous and non-hazardous waste services.” ARG is a metals and environmental management company with international operations.
